Graced Hot Chocolate & Whipped Cream

Hot Chocolate Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

Combine sweeten condensed milk and chocolate chips in a small stock pot and place on low to medium heat. Stir occasionally until completely melted. Add heavy whipping cream, milk & vanilla and keep on low to medium for 30-45 mins.

You can also place all ingredients in a crock pot and cook it on low for 1-2 hours or until all ingredients are melted and blended together.

Whipped Cream Ingredients:

  • heavy whipping cream
  • powdered sugar or to taste
  • vanilla extract

Pour heavy whipping cream into mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer with whisks, whip on high speed and the cream will start to bubble. 

Add in powdered sugar, slowly, to taste (about a cup per quart, or less, depending on how sweet you want your cream) and add a good splash of vanilla. 

Continue to mix on high. When the whipped cream can stand in stiff peaks, its done. Don't over do it or you will have butter. If you don't mix it enough, it will be floppy whipped cream.

Serve with coffee or hot chocolate.
