What a reassuring hope we have during any scary circumstance, trial, or just our day to day life.

I love the feeling of a shady tree on a hot day, it brings a comfort when our bodies need a break from the heat. I also love when it’s dusk and how it’s just a peaceful, relaxing feel after a hectic day. When we think of how God uses his shadow in scripture as a comforting safety, it really is a secure description of who He is to us. In the shadow of His mighty wings we are safe. We can close our eyes and rest knowing He has us covered. Thank you Jesus for your stable, everlasting hand on our lives. Meditate on the beauty of our Lord, and how He cares so deeply for us. Anything you may be unsure of today, be sure of this, He cares for you, He hears you, He will never ever leave you!
